Amino VIBE - Amino energy BCAA
WHAT IS BCAA?
The acronym, which is already an old acquaintance among physical exercise practitioners and gym goers, is derived from the English term Branched Chain Amino Acids, which, in a simple translation, means “branched-chain amino acids”. However, knowing the translation of the term that gave rise to this acronym is not enough to understand what BCAA is.
It is necessary to understand that, in a simplified way, amino acids are organic molecules that have a very specific structure, the same as that found in muscle fibre. These molecules bind together and form proteins — that is, they are directly related to gaining muscle mass.
In this context, BCAA is made up of 3 branched-chain amino acids — leucine, isoleucine and valine — and corresponds to approximately 35% of essential amino acids, that is, those that are not produced by our body and must be ingested through food and nutrition. , in some cases, of supplementation.
